Zimbabwe Cultural Centre in Detroit (ZCCD) mission is to educate, archive, and promote the arts and culture of Zimbabwe. Our goal is to encourage strong ties between culture producers and residents in both Zimbabwe and abroad acting as catalysts for critical artistic production as well as cultural exchange between diverse communities.

An exchange between Detroit artist Bryce Detroit and Harare based artist, Biko Emcee (Stephen Biko Chisuvi) in honor of legacy of Zimbabwean musician Cde Chinx and his 1989 hit Roger Confirm. Sound production, editing and image design by Bryce Detroit, 2017.

Haleem RaSul aka Stringz (Detroit) and Franco Dakha aka Slomo (Zimbabwe). Stringz dances Detroit style "jit" with Slomo's music while Slomo dances Zimbabwe style jit to Stringz's music. This gave birth to the Jit Exchange. Video filmed by Kumbulani Zamuchiya, Chido Johnson and edited by Dyani Douze.
